Who we are
Altus Advisory Private Limited is an advisory firm based in Thane, Maharashtra, set up in May 2026 by Narendrra V Arora and Sushma Arora.
Where we fit
We work on problems that are too specific for a large firm working from a standard methodology and often too small for such a firm to staff properly. The two directors lead every engagement and do the core work themselves.
Why the name Altus
Altus is Latin for high, and also for deep. We chose the name for both meanings: the height to see above the immediate problem, and the depth of experience to solve it from the inside.

How we work
Senior-led work
There is no delivery pyramid and no junior team learning on your account. Where a mandate needs more hands or a specialist skill, we bring in experienced professionals from our network, and we remain accountable for the result.
A first conversation
30 to 45 minutes to understand the situation, at no cost or obligation.
A scoping note
Usually within a week, setting out what needs doing, in what order and on what terms.
An engagement letter
Scope, deliverables, timelines and fees agreed in writing before work begins.
A regular review
A standing review on every engagement, at a frequency agreed at the start, so that scope and value stay visible.
What we do not take on
Work we cannot deliver to a senior standard. Where a mandate needs scale, we will say so and, where we can, point you to someone better suited. Filings that must be certified by a practising professional are handled through our network partners.

Narendrra V Arora

Narendrra has 31 years of experience since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, across ten organisations including Mafatlal Industries, Johnson & Johnson, Owens Corning, Publicis Groupe, Thermo Fisher Scientific, the Piramal Group and CMR Surgical. He was the first Country Finance Director for India at Thermo Fisher Scientific, built Piramal’s Global Business Shared Services organisation to 135 people, and was on the core team for the group’s Corporate Structure Simplification. He has served on the boards of group companies in India and the UAE. He completed the Senior Executive Leadership Programme at Harvard Business School and the KPMG Independent Director Certification Programme, and is a Certified Executive Coach.
Sushma Arora
Founder & Director

Sushma has 15 years of in-house company secretarial, legal and compliance experience with the DCM Group, Sandoz Enterprises (a Novartis Group company) and Radhakrishna Foodland, where she was Company Secretary and Legal Compliances Officer. She has also trained in yoga therapy, pranayama, meditation and naturopathy. At Altus she leads the corporate law advisory and company secretarial work, and the corporate wellbeing programmes.
